A man who took two children “as cover” to a €400,000 drug deal has received an eight-year prison sentence with the last 18 months suspended.

A father and daughter have been remanded in custody in relation to the discovery of €1.5m worth of cocaine and cannabis and €399,000 of cannabis, respectively, at two addresses in Co Kilkenny.
