LIMERICK-based radio station Spin South-West remains on course to break even by the end of 2011 despite its latest set of accounts showing a loss of nearly €1 million.

YOUNG radio listeners in Munster will have a new choice from Monday when Limerick-based SPIN South West goes on air.

CORK’S Red FM and Dublin’s SPIN went head-to-head in Limerick yesterday with final presentations to the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) for the licence to run a station to cater for the 15-34 age group in the South-West region.
