Prime Minister Fuad Saniora said today that three former Lebanese security chiefs and the commander of the Presidential Guards are suspects in the UN investigation into the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

As a stunned Lebanon grieved, dozens of angry mourners attacked Syrian workers in the home town of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, who was assassinated in a huge bomb blast, while others marched in streets draped with black banners.

Security forces seized guns and explosives and arrested four men suspected of involvement in attacks on American and British targets in Lebanon, officials in Beirut said today.
