US secretary of state Hillary Clinton arrived in Pakistan today to repair badly-frayed relations after the killing of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden at a hideout not far from Islamabad.

The chief of the US military said the notorious Guantanamo Bay prison camp should be closed as soon as possible because negative publicity about the treatment of terror suspects had been “pretty damaging” to America’s image.
