The death toll from a series of Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza strip has risen to 12 militants.

Four people were reported to have been shot dead today when the Israeli military opened fire on a group of Syrians trying to cross the border along the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.

An anti-tank missile fired from the Gaza Strip struck a school bus in southern Israel today, wounding two people, including one child critically, Israeli officials said.
