Dredging, underground pump stations and a new footbridge form part of a €10m plan to prevent flooding in a West Cork town for 100 years.

MULTI-disciplined civil engineering consultancy White Young Green (WYG) is looking to reduce dependency on its core markets of Britain and Ireland and boost contribution from its international business to around 35% of group revenue.

WHITE YOUNG GREEN IRELAND has appointed Elizabeth Muldowney as principal energy consultant. She joins the company — which acts as a consultant to the civil engineering sector — from Sustainable Energy Ireland.

WHITE Young Green (WYG), the British headquartered civil engineering consultancy group, has said that its Irish operations contributed strongly to the group’s interim results for the six months to the end of December.
