Dublin-based renewable energy investor NTR has sold two of its American company’s wind farm assets for a combined €221m.

Irish renewable energy investment group NTR has sold a windfarm in Oklahoma for $60m (€43m) before the wind turbines even started turning.

NTR has sold its holding in American-based ethanol company, Green Plains Renewable Energy and increased its holding in Wind Capital Group, its US-based wind energy company.

WIND Capital Group, the wind energy division of Irish renewable energy and waste management group NTR, has secured project debt financing totalling $240 million (€160m) for its 150 megawatt Lost Creek wind farm project in the US.
