A local man has claimed the basis of a planning approval for a multi-million Euro wind farm project in Co Mayo means substantially less financial compensation for the local community.

OVER 80% of people are favourably disposed to constructing more wind farms in Ireland, while over two-thirds are favourable to having a wind-farm built in their locality.
