Public relations guru Mary Finan was today appointed by the Government as chairperson of the RTE Authority.

CLARE, Kilkenny and Cork are expected to command the biggest representation on the Guinness 'Hurling Legends' team which is to be announced tonight.

Mary Finan has been elected chairman of the Economic and Social Research Institute.
