Work has begun on a €35m distillery to bring one of the world’s best-selling whiskies back to its roots.

Spirits business and independent family distillers, William Grant & Sons, has agreed to sell its three liqueur brands Carolans, Frangelico and Irish Mist to Gruppo Campari.
