There should be a full investigation into the controversial closure of the Visteon car parts plant in Belfast, Sinn Féin said today.

Car parts firm Visteon today offered extra payments to former workers in a bid to resolve a series of protests over redundancies.

Evidence from Limerick based Ceridian ITS, which became part of Ceridian Corporation in July, indicates that more multinational businesses are attracted to Ireland, either to open new outlets or to offshore functional operations.
