Taliban fighters killed 15 Afghan guards working for a US security company who were guarding a convoy of fuel tankers driving through western Afghanistan, an official said today.

A suicide car bomber detonated near a convoy of private security forces today in southern Afghanistan, killing four Afghan guards and 11 civilians, including three women and two children, police said.
