BRITISH troops should be withdrawn from Iraq once Iraqi forces have been trained, regardless of the security situation, the co-chairman of a commission looking into the policy said yesterday.

PRESIDENT George W Bush yesterday said a new approach was required on Iraq, one day after a scathing report by the Iraq Study Group called for changing US strategy.
