A High Court judge has raised issues with lawyers for the US government about the effect of findings of non-compliance by US intelligence agencies with restrictions on surveillance, writes Ann O'Loughlin.

The US government has asked the High Court to take account of a “significant” decision last month stopping the collection of a certain category of personal data by the US National Security Agency.
