Cancer patients living in the south can now avail of some of the most technologically advanced treatments closer to home thanks to a new €77m cancer care centre in Cork.

The Bon Secours hospital in Cork has officially opened its new cancer care centre, which was developed in partnership with US medical centre UPMC.

Cutting-edge technology will be used at the Bon Secours Hospital in Cork to provide a higher level of precision in attacking and killing cancerous tumours.
