The euro’s stagnant start to the year might be ending as signs emerge that Europe’s economic growth is reviving.

Swiss financial services giant UBS is to cut 10,000 jobs from its global workforce over the next three years in a bid to cut costs by around €4.5bn.

UBS plans to cut first-half bonus payments to its employees by 4 billion Swiss francs (€2.5bn), Swiss newspaper Sonntag CH reported on Sunday without disclosing its sources.
