United Drug, a leading provider of services to healthcare manufacturers and pharmaceutical retailers in Ireland and the UK today announced that it has acquired the Pharma and Healthcare packaging division of Budelpack International, based in Hamont in Northern Belgium.

UNITED Drug said operating profits and earnings for the six months to the end of March should be ahead of last year’s first-half figures and are likely to deliver double-digit growth.
