LATEST: At least 100 people have been killed in the blast near evacuation buses outside Aleppo city, the Syrian opposition rescue service says.

UN monitors entered the Syrian hamlet of Mazraat al-Qubeir yesterday, where opposition activists say at least 78 people were killed, a UN source said.

Tens of thousands of Syrians shouting "We want freedom!" carried killed protesters through the streets today as opposition figures meeting in Turkey called for a united front to bring down the 40-year ruling dynasty of the Assad family.
