A counselling service in Co Kerry has reported a 33% jump in the number of people accessing its services and needing support in the past five years.

A service to prevent suicide has been launched in Co Kerry, which has one of the highest rates nationally of people taking their own lives.

A KERRY counselling centre has reported a 15% rise in the number of people seeking help in 2011.
