A waste disposal company and its director, Louis Moriarty, have been fined a total of €60,000 at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court today for illegal dumping in Co Wicklow.

A prominent Dublin waste contractor has been fined €10,000 at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for unauthorised "recovery" of inert waste at an illegal dump in Co. Wicklow in the late 1990s.

A waste disposal company, its director and a truck driver contracted to the company have had their sentence adjourned at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on charges of illegal dumping at sites in Wicklow.
