The family of an 82-year-old woman who died days after she fell off a trolley at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin has settled a High Court action over her death.

St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin has been heavily criticised by the Oireachtas Health Committee for failing to appear before it in relation to serious allegations about its procurement practices.
