TWO PENSIONERS have been arrested in connection with Monday’s fatal gun attack in Limerick city, as it emerged that a second man died earlier on the same day following a violent assault in the city centre two weeks ago.

THE Limerick teenager shot dead late on Wednesday night was possibly a “soft target” revenge killing for an attack, earlier that day, on members of a city feud gang.

THE two major drugs gangs in Limerick, based in St Mary’s Park and Ballinacurra Weston, get their supplies from varied sources, according to gardaí.
