A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and serious sexual assault after a "horrific" attack left a woman in a life-threatening condition.

POLICE have found the grave of a missing former Serbian president they believe was killed by an elite police unit also suspected in the slaying of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, authorities said yesterday.

Police today said they had uncovered the grave of a former Serbian president who had been missing for three years.
