New Yorkers lined their city’s waterfront today to welcome the space shuttle Enterprise as it sailed up the Hudson River to its new home aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.

Massive snowfall and strong winds again blasted Washington and much of the US east coast as the US capital struggled with the latest storm in its most difficult winter in memory.
