THE recent cabinet decision to abolish the Irish language requirement for the Law Society and the King’s Inns was disappointing.

A NEW profession of conveyance specialists should be established and an independent Legal Services Commission set up, the Competition Authority said yesterday as it recommended radical reform of the legal profession.
