FORESTRY company Coillte has reported an eightfold jump in its profits, from €4.2 million in 2009 to €32.1m in 2010.

TIMBER company Medite has developed an ultra-light medium density fibreboard (MDF) wood product which is set to be launched onto the European market.

Coillte today announced 2007 profits were up 79% to €40.1m, from €22.46m in 2006.
