Whoopi Goldberg has defended her choice to attack US president George W Bush which led to her being dropped as a spokeswoman for diet aid company Slim-Fast.

The Slim-Fast diet drink company has dumped Hollywood actress Whoopi Goldberg from its advertising after she mocked US president George Bush at a political rally.
