One of the Siamese twins whose fused skulls were separated in a landmark operation in Singapore has recovered enough to take her first ride in a pram, a hospital spokeswoman said today.

Siamese twins from Nepal who were born joined at the head have been separated in an operation lasting almost four days.

Surgeons are still operating to separate eleven-month-old Siamese twins from Nepal who are joined at the head.
