Former Irish rugby star Frankie Sheahan and his brother could face bank repossession on a number of properties after a High Court judge yesterday found in favour of the bank parties in a legal dispute over the alleged non-payment of loans.

Proceedings between Bank of Ireland and former Irish rugby star Frankie Sheahan with his brother Joseph has opened before the High Court today.

Bank of Ireland is pursuing the father of former Ireland and Munster rugby player Frankie Sheahan for almost €3m over alleged guarantees for loans advanced to his sons Frankie and Joey.

Former Ireland rugby player Frankie Sheahan, and his brother Joseph, have brought a High Court action aimed at stopping a bank-appointed receiver from interfering with a number of properties they own.
