Forensic medical examiners for victims of child sex abuse, who run the only specialist clinic of its kind in Ireland, have withdrawn their services.

RAPE prosecutions have collapsed because inexperienced and ill-trained GPs are being drafted in to carry out specialist forensic examinations, the Mid-Western Health Board claims.
