A 77-year-old retired primary school teacher was jailed yesterday for a disgraceful breach of trust where he sexually abused a 9-year-old boy eight times in the early 1990s.

A retired primary school teacher charged with sexually assaulting a nine-year-old schoolboy eight times in the early 1990s denied the charges yesterday and a jury was sworn in for his trial.
