Is there no end to the inappropriate behaviour of our publicly elected representatives in the Dáil?

The recent Prime Time documentary Inside Bungalow 3, aired on December 9 last, has once again demonstrated the plight of people with intellectual disabilities in Ireland.

IN a world first, scientists in Limerick are turning the traditional lullaby on its head by trying to find out if singing them can soothe, not the babies, but pregnant women.

IN light of the recent illuminating reports in the media regarding the state of intellectual disabilities service provision nationally — we, the undersigned, are calling for the establishment of a properly researched, properly informed policy regarding the future needs of people with intellectual disabilities in Ireland.

WE all dislike the fact that the banks have a full Government guarantee. It seems curious that at the same time the HSE thinks the warranty has ran out on our elderly people.
