Apple is facing production delays to its top-of-the-line iPhone X due to problems with the 3-D sensor manufacturing process, according to a series of news reports.

Apple has ordered an estimated 160 million OLED displays for its upcoming iPhone 8 device, according to a new report from the Korean Herald.

Apple hasn’t even hinted at the iPad Pro, its 12.9-inch tablet, but that hasn’t stemmed the wave of leaks, rumours and reports. It was initially tipped for release at the tail end of this year, but looks likely to slip to 2016.

Samsung is to invest 10.4 billion yen (€84.4m) in Sharp to secure a supply of large-size LCD panels.
