Scientists have created mice with small amounts of human brain cells in an effort to make realistic models of neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.

THE British-born scientist who helped discover the genetic blueprint of life, DNA, has died.

Nobel Prize-winning British scientist Francis Crick, who with James Watson discovered the spiral, ”double-helix” structure of DNA, paving the way for everything from DNA blood tests to genetically engineered tomatoes, has died. He was 88.
