A Saab automobile car rolled off the assembly line yesterday for the first time in more than two years.

Trustees of bankrupt Saab Automobile said today that they have received several potential bids from international and Swedish investors looking to rescue the car maker from insolvency.

Car-maker Saab has filed for bankruptcy, according to a Swedish court.

A small, privately owned Chinese carmaker has saved Sweden’s Saab Automobile from imminent collapse through an agreement to provide €150m in funds for the ailing brand.
