A LIBERAL Democrat MP whose former aide is facing expulsion from Britain as an alleged Russian spy resigned from the House of Commons Defence Committee yesterday.

A RUSSIAN diplomat has been expelled from Ireland after a Garda report found that the Russian intelligence service was behind the “forgery and effective theft” of Irish passports.

A diplomat at the Russian Embassy in Dublin has been fired and asked to leave the country after an investigation revealed Russian involvement in the forgery of Irish passports.
