A couple embroiled in a legal battle with their neighbours over a hedge are now facing a massive legal bill after they yesterday lost their case.

The president of the High Court has directed that experts on opposing sides in a bitter neighbours dispute over a hedge meet first thing this morning to thrash out a solution.
