The Labour Party is to launch a Private Members Bill in the Dail calling for a legislative ban on human cloning in Ireland.

SOUTH Korean prosecutors yesterday began investigating claims by an American sect it has successfully implanted a cloned human embryo in a woman.

Scientists and doctors argued publicly today over whether cloning is a sound science or an error-prone process that could produce abnormal embryos.
