Goal-line technology is back on the agenda just seven months after being ruled out by football’s lawmakers.

Football’s lawmakers have moved a major step closer to the introduction of goal-line technology but ordered that any system to be considered will have to confirm within one second that a goal has been scored.

Qatar Football Association general secretary Saud Al Mohannadi has confirmed that Doha will host the international friendly between Brazil and England in November.
