The State body tasked with checking the seaworthiness of vessels entering Irish ports has been accused of neglecting its duty to inspect a ship which docked in Limerick and which was alleged to be unsafe.

A DUBLIN man who has recouped more than $1m (€645,000) in owed wages for international seafarers docking in Ireland has received international acclaim for his efforts.
