Businesses and individuals developing and selling smartphone and computer apps in the EU earned €17.5bn last year, a figure that could rise to €63bn in just five years.

Galway: Pocket Anatomy, a Galway-based medical education software visualisation company, has been awarded the annual Special Award for Media in Education at this year’s European MEDEA 2010 Media in Education awards in Brussels.
