IRISH investors in a troubled Bulgarian resort scheme have been told they must pay thousands of euro more before the end of the month or wait two years for their money back.

A PROPERTY agent has revealed he was warned to stay away from a Dutch developer with a “disastrous track record” who has sunk €10 million of Irish money into a half-built Bulgarian resort.

Up to 200 Irish investors may stand to lose €6.5m after the developers of a Bulgarian apartment complex that they had bought into went into liquidation.

UP to 200 Irish people have lost between €15,000 and €50,000 each because a Bulgarian apartment complex property deal they bought into has gone bust.
