St Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band from Dublin have won the overall champions prize at the world championships in Scotland, it was revealed today.

THOMAS Davis Pipe Band has been serving the community of Mallow and the surrounding area of Co Cork since 1924. For the past 80 years the band has resided in the town hall – a listed building which we are proud to call home.

Dublin Fire Brigade will boast more than 40 new firefighters later today.
