The chief executive of suicide prevention centre Pieta House has said staff at three new regional offices have been working “flat out” with new cases since they opened.

A hospital has pledged €150,000 to help establish a new suicide crisis centre in Cork.

The charity for the prevention of self-harm and suicide, Pieta House, is to launch a nationwide campaign in a bid to reduce the level of male suicide.
