The man who attacked a cartoonist who depicted the Prophet Muhammad in a cartoon has previously been arrested in Kenya, according to Danish media.

A Somali man was under heavy guard at a Danish hospital today after police stopped him from killing an artist whose cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed outraged the Muslim world.

A Somalian man is facing two charges of attempted murder after he was shot by police while attempting to enter the home of a cartoonist who outraged many Muslims with his depiction of the Prophet Mohammed, Danish security sources said.
