The Lord Mayor of Cork plans to present, to the Dáil next week, a “boycott Irish Water petition” signed by 22,000 people which the previous mayor refused to accept.

Several local election candidates defied litter pollution laws yesterday to highlight what they claim is an “inequality” in electoral law.
