THE Port of Cork is preparing to resubmit a planning application for a scaled-down container terminal in Ringaskiddy which the company hopes will be fully operational by 2020.

THE Port of Cork is to submit a revised plan for a new €50 million container terminal in Ringaskiddy, although not on the same site which was previously refused by Bord Pleanála.

THE Port of Cork hopes to identify a new site for a €200 million deepwater terminal by the end of next month.

THE Port of Cork has put in a bid for the former IFI plant at Marino Point, with plans to develop part of it as a national bio-energy centre.
