Details of Cork’s top tourist attractions have been extolled from the ramparts of a historic fort.

The Office of Public Works has said it is “alarmed” at the “huge increase” in the flying of unregulated drones near national heritage sites.

Damage to the main visitor path on Skellig Michael, the Unesco World Heritage island off Kerry, has been significant but will not delay the official visiting season which begins in May, according to the Office of Public Works.
