Canada is exploring the use of gender-neutral options on identity cards, Justin Trudeau told a television station as he became the first Canadian prime minister to march in a gay pride parade.

Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe today welcomed the beginning of an agreement which allows for the mutual exchange of driving licences between Ireland and the Canadian province of Ontario.

Irish driving licences will be eligible in the Canadian province of Ontario very shortly, according to the Department of Transport.
