At least two people can claim a share of a record near-€300m US lottery jackpot, and there could be more as California is still checking its Mega Millions results, officials announced today.

A WOMAN who claims she lost the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket and is suing to block payment to the acknowledged winner last night said she was charged previously with credit card fraud and assault.
